The examination into the Waste Plan is now complete. The draft Inspectors report was sent to the County Council for identifying any factual errors and seeking clarification on any conclusions that are unclear.

The County Council has sought clarification on some points.

Representatives of the Planning Inspectorate and the County Council met on 10 December to discuss procedural matters arising from a particular clarification issue.

The Planning Inspectorate still aim to make the Inspectors Report available in December.

As soon as the Report is available it will be published on this website. In due course, a note of the procedural meeting between the Council and the Planning Inspectorate will also be published on this website.

We have since been advised by Surrey County Council that the Inspectors' report will not be available on the website until 2 January 2008, at the earliest.
