I have recently
moved into the village and became aware of the proposed incenerator.
In order to find out more about the subject I contacted Friends of
the Earth and found them to be highly informative. I would like to
help. Is there anyone I can get in touch with?

Thank you
for contacting us. CAG is a small but effective action group that
is fighting the prospect of an incinerator proposal largely by participating
strongly at every stage of the planning process and if necessary taking
matters through the legal process, as we did in 2002 when we defeated
Surrey County Council in the High Court.
One of the best ways that you can start to help on an individual basis
is by writing to the local press on issues, attending formal council
meetings when waste matters are being discussed and coming to village
meetings on the subject. The next village meeting is on 22 March.
